THE ATLANTIC — 59°N
A solitary residence on a windswept black-sand shore. Floor-to-ceiling glass frames the storm as the interior glows.
— THE RESIDENCE
Skarv is a single structure of basalt, glass and warm light — set alone on a dark shore where the North Atlantic meets black volcanic rock. There is nothing else for miles.
Every room orients to the sea. The building recedes into the cliff, leaving only the glazed face exposed to weather, horizon, and the shifting light of dusk and storm.
— THE LOCATION
— THE STUDIO
Composed for those who work alone, at the edge of the map. A writing desk faces the horizon; the storm is the only interruption.
Designed by the Skarv atelier — architecture, interiors and landscape as one continuous gesture toward the sea.
— ENQUIRE
